An inveterate traveller, Alexander Stewart has walked, trekked and tramped in more than 30 countries around the world. In the course of these trips he has researched and written guidebooks for several publishers, including for Trailblazer: New Zealand – The Great Walks, The Walker’s Haute Route and Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path. As a freelance travel writer and photographer he has also contributed articles and photographs to various newspapers and magazines.
When he isn’t escaping the city, he lives in London where he works for WEXAS, the World Expeditionary Association, wondering where to go next.
