Go do some great thing : the Black pioneers of British Columbia / by Crawford Kilian.
The Black pioneers of British Columbia had become what Orwell called "unpersons." They had played a key role in the early years of the colonies that became British Columbia and yet the province had forgotten them, but they deserve recognition. Although an informal and incomplete history, hopefully encourage professional historians to re-examine the role of the Blacks in the province, past and present.
